Epic E-Lottery Platform &
DLB SWEEP APP

DLB SWEEP Mobile Application is powered by Epic’s e-Lottery platform. DLB SWEEP facilitates lottery ticket purchases from the lotteries issued by the Development Lotteries Board (DLB) of Sri Lanka. Furthermore, the mobile app facilitates the redemption of the winning lottery tickets purchased through the app up to a maximum price value of Rs. 100,000/-. The redemption of winning prices exceeding Rs. 100,000/- would be facilitated only via DLB. The mobile app will be made freely available on both Android and IOS platforms via the respective app stores.

The solution is deployed on the time-tested Epic Transaction Switch (E-SWITCH) which will behave as the interfacing hub with multiple front-end channels. The entire solution will be hosted at HNB Data Centre or at an independent location and the end-to-end communication is strengthened with industry recommended security standards and specifications to ensure that data integrity and authenticity is maintained at all times.

KEY Features

The mobile app will consist of the following features:

Registration for lottery purchase

Adding payment instruments for lottery

Purchase of lottery tickets

Viewing lottery results

Redemption of winning lottery tickets

In order to purchase lotteries, initially the customers would be required to register and create a profile. Thereafter, it would be required to register payment instruments for the purchase of lottery tickets. The types of payment instruments that will be facilitated are

Any VISA/Master card

HNB personal CASA accounts

Other bank CASA accounts via JustPay

Ez Cash and m-Cash (From Februar y 2021)

Once the instruments are registered, the customer would be able to use them to initiate purchases of lottery tickets. The purchases would be facilitated as one-time purchases as well as recurring purchases. It will be up to the customer to select the required purchase type, lottery type and the number of tickets. The minimum number of lotteries which can be purchased at one time will be 5 lotteries from an on-boarded payment instrument. However, the customers will be able to purchase minimum 1 ticket by redeeming the winning funds

If a lottery ticket is awarded with a prize after the draw, the customer will be notified via the mobile app and the details will be displayed within the mobile app and will be accessible for the customer after logging in to the app.

If the customer requires to redeem the winning lottery prizes, the facility is provided for the customer to redeem same either by way of credit to a bank account or by way of purchasing new lottery tickets.

Our Sub-agents are the bridge between us and the client. As a Sub Agent your duties are to promote DLB SWEEP APP to new customers, onboard them with your agent code and help them with

  • Registration
  • Adding payment instruments for lottery purchase
  • Purchase of lottery tickets
  • Viewing lottery results
  • Redemption of winning lottery tickets

We will be in touch with you within five business days. Thank you for your interest in becoming a Sales sub-agent for the DLB SWEEP Ecosystem.

If and when you are approved as a sub-agent, you will be allocated a 5-digit code which you can use to onboard new clients.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

Enter your Agent Code when you are onboarding a new customer and you are set for a lifetime incentive from every ticket that a customer buys via the DLB SWEEP APP

Follow the steps below:

Sign Up

Sign up your client with his device
 

Step 2

Enter your Agent code

When entering your client’s data, make sure they add your agent code where indicated
 

Step 3

Now they are logged in

Once your client’s profile is created, they can log in with you as their Sub-Agent
 

Step 5

Start earning commission

Now, when your client purchases tickets, you will receive a commission for ticket as their Sub-Agent
 

CAN MY CUSTOMER CHANGE THE AGENT CODE TO A DIFFERENT SUBAGENT’S CODE LATER?

No, this is not possible.

The customer NIC number and phone number is both linked to the customer profile in our system and that customer profile in linked with your agent code.
